Safi Farooqui

Safi Farooqui is part of the Infrastructure investment team based out of Toronto. In this role, he has focused his time on evaluating and leading diligence efforts for investment opportunities, primarily within the data and transportation sectors. Mr. Farooqui has also been closely involved in leading asset management initiatives, particularly for Compass – a leading North American focused hyperscale data center developer. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2021, Mr. Farooqui worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at a leading global investment bank in New York. Mr. Farooqui graduated with Distinction from McGill University with a Joint Honors degree in Economics and Finance and is also a Certified Financial Analyst.
